Why

Univent initiated and produced in collaboration with the Jewish Italian Museum and the Italian Embassy, the Jerusalem Italian Festival that grew into an annual event over 8 years with opera, festivities, open concerts, pasta art exhibition contest, spaghetti fest, and Comedia Del Arte performances.

In 2010, China celebrated 18 years of diplomatic relations with Israel. Univent initiated and produced the event in the 2100-year-old Roman Amphitheatre in Beit-Shean, which included a show with 70 dancers, singers and musicians, brought especially from China. Before the show, by invitation only, a reception took place with President Peres, the Diplomatic Corps, members of parliament, public businessmen, the media, and 2500 guests.

This process led Univent to the next step venture: exposing the cultural paradise that is found in every nation while leaving a genuine impact on the public. This event will annually highlight one special country to expose the Israeli public to a higher cultural level of tradition, art, history, commerce and tourism. The year 2014 will be dedicated to the USA, “The Great American Fair” from the July 6-12.

Our Vision

Every year one country will be presented to the Israeli public. The goal is to develop a deeper interest in the chosen country’s culture, tourism and commerce. The opportunity of a greater exposure to a new world will plant the seeds for future multilevel partnerships and growth.
